We’re celebrating being able to fill up our beautiful theatre again and we want YOU to join the party as we throw open our doors for loads of FREE events, tours, workshops and activities on Tuesday 3 August.

Sign up for our hour-long tours when you arrive – these are on a first come, first served basis.

• History of the Theatre Tours
  10:30am, 11:30am, 2pm, 2:45pm

• Tech workshop
  Our Technical Team are standing by to show you how sound, lighting and special effects combine to create our incredible shows.
• Archive Display
  Hear from our expert archivists about some of the treasures of the theatre
• Craft and colouring activities
  Family panto ticket to be won. Complete and return the colouring sheet to enter!
• Treasure Trail
  Find the rats and the hidden treasures. Claim your goody bags at the Matcham Bar
• Language of the Fan
  Learn how the original Kings Theatre audiences communicated from the boxes.
• Guess how many Magic Beans Competition
  Guess the correct amount of magic beans and win a prize!
• Face Painting
  Transform into your favourite animals/ characters! Fee payable directly to the face painter.
• Kings Youth Theatre Q&A
  Discover how your child can participate in our very own youth theatre
• Meet the CEO
  Our CEO, Paul Woolf, will be available to welcome you back to the theatre and answer your questions
• Live Music
  Relax to some chilled tunes while enjoying your refreshments

We are providing a buggy park alongside the Stalls entrance B on Albert Road, please ask staff at Box Office if you need to use this service.

Free tea and coffee is available throughout the day in the Dress Circle & Matcham Bar, other refreshments and merchandise will be available to buy.
