An Inspiring Journey for Young Performers at The Kings Theatre, Portsmouth. Step into the spotlight and travel through time with Musical Theatre Through the Ages, an exciting and interactive experience designed especially for young people. Hosted at the historic Kings Theatre in Portsmouth, this immersive programme invites budding performers to explore the rich history of musical theatre — from the golden age of Broadway to contemporary West End hits.

Participants will engage in dynamic workshops, learn iconic songs and choreography, and discover the cultural impact of musicals across the decades. Guided by experienced theatre professionals, this journey offers a unique opportunity to develop performance skills, build confidence, and ignite a lifelong love for the stage.

Step into the spotlight alongside stars from past productions like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Annie, SpongeBob the Musical and more who have graced The Kings Theatre stage. Throughout this two-day event, you’ll develop your performance skills and showcase what you’ve learned in a special finale performance for family and friends.
 
Whether you’re a seasoned young performer or just beginning your theatrical adventure, this experience promises inspiration, creativity, and a whole lot of fun — all set in one of the South Coast’s most iconic theatres.
