Update from our CEO: 31 MAR

With the recent statements from the UK government regarding social distancing, and ongoing conversations with the Producers of shows coming to the theatre, we are sad to announce that the Kings is extending its temporary closure up to Sunday 31 May 2020.

We are working tirelessly to reschedule our fabulous line up of shows in this period and if you have tickets we will be contacting you as soon as we have the news.

During these exceptional times we have a small Box Office team working off-site who are dealing with a huge number of queries. All details about how to exchange tickets will be included in the individual emails we are sending to ticket holders as we confirm details with the Producers. May I ask you to bear with us and where possible not contact Box Office until directed to do so.

Saying that, we are still on sale with all shows after May including our spectacular Christmas Panto, Peter Pan (starring Only Fools and Horses’ Boycie – John Challis and our very own Jack Edwards).

Unfortunately due to the reduced numbers of our active team we will now be closing the Kings Theatre Box Office phone lines for a short time. Please keep an eye on our website and across our social media channels for future information about the phone lines re-opening.

You can also reach us at box.office@kingsportsmouth.co.uk but please note it may take longer than usual to reply to messages.

We are updating social media and our website as we get news so please keep an eye on the latest information.

It is for many of us the first time something of this magnitude has impacted each and every one of us in such a significant way. I am committed to managing the Kings Theatre through this period and hope to be welcoming you back very soon to give you the first class live theatre we all deserve.

With All Best Wishes.
Paul Woolf, CEO
