Meeting Henry VIII at the Mary Rose Museum!

To mark our relationship ahead of Horrible Histories: Terrible Tudors, the Theatre was pleased to be invited down to the Mary Rose Museum to meet Henry VIII himself.

The Museum is home to Henry VIII’s favourite ship, which was recovered and recreated from the seabed, paying homage to the Tudor period, and also contains an extensive collection of Tudor artifacts.

During our visit Henry was more than happy to pose for photos and gave an interesting insight into what life was like as a monarch during that time.

Horrible Histories: Terrible Tudors is playing at the Theatre on November 15-17 with shows throughout the weekend. For all those who purchase their show ticket, they will be able to enjoy 30% off their visit to the Museum.

Tickets for Horrible Histories: Terrible Tudors are available HERE.

*Offer valid when showing your Kings Theatre Horrible Histories ticket at the Mary Rose Ticket Office, until 31 December.
