The Kings welcomes the news of the government support package for the Arts. live entertainment and heritage sectors in the UK announced yesterday. We read with interest the press release last night and now await the detail to advise how this will help regional venues in the theatre and music sectors, large and small. The Kings is a charity that currently has no Arts Council funding and a small amount of local council subsidy for our community and education programmes. While we wait for details of the funding package, we will continue to lobby our case to allow us to open with all appropriate safety measures as soon as possible.
