This fresh new adaptation of the ‘Scottish Play’ arrives back at The Kings Theatre in 2026.

With the infamous Porter acting as narrator, an ensemble of 6 actors creates a cauldron of characters, as Macbeth and Lady Macbeth make their perilous descent towards Hell.

Set against a back-drop of wars, witchery and treasonous plotting, Shakespeare’s ambitious Macbeth remains ominously relevant in the 21^st Century. “What’s done cannot be undone!”

Dickens Theatre Company has been successfully staging classic English literature texts for the UK stage since 2015. As part of DTC’s Revision on Tour (alongside Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde), this Macbeth entertains and educates… to the bitter end.
