A SPECIAL COLLECTION IN MEMORY OF ALAN KNIGHT
Alan was a much-loved and hugely respected figure at Portsmouth Football Club, and his loss has been felt deeply by his family, friends, former teammates and the many thousands of Pompey supporters who followed his remarkable career. It was Alan’s wish that any money raised in his memory should be donated to Rowan Hospice. We are therefore very proud to honour his wishes by holding a collection at the end of our Portsmouth Legends evening.
There will, of course, be absolutely no obligation to donate. However, for anyone who would like to make a contribution, no matter how large or small, it will be very gratefully received and will help support the important work carried out by the hospice. The evening will also give us an opportunity to remember Alan and recognise the enormous contribution he made to Portsmouth Football Club and the city he represented with such distinction.
