Award-winning English Youth Ballet returns to Portsmouth with its exquisite and acclaimed production of Swan Lake.  International principal dancers will lead an impressive cast of 80 local, young dancers selected for their skill and potential.

Set in the Mariinsky Theatre when the Mariinsky Ballet was popular with the Tsar and Russian nobility.  It promises to be a traditional production but with particular emphasis on the rivalry between the seductive Black Swan – Odi   and the vulnerable White Swan – Odette, as they compete for the affections of the Prince.
