Payments and Fees

We accept the following methods of payment:

  • Debit/Credit Card – Visa/Master/Maestro
  • Theatre Tokens

Tickets should be printed at home, available for scanning on a phone/tablet, or collected in advance from the theatre.

Our Fees Explained

The price you see advertised is the price you pay inclusive of fees. Our fees cover all costs associated with processing your booking and also Building Improvement Fund charge (applies to shows at the theatre only) which goes towards improving our beautiful Grade II* listed building. An additional charge will apply for postage of tickets.

Theatre Tokens

Theatre Tokens are national theatre gift vouchers that can be used at more than 260 venues nationwide including the Kings Theatre. With no expiry date, they are the perfect gift for anyone…at any time. Buy online by clicking the button below (Gift Card and eGift). These can be purchased at our Box Office or on the Theatre Tokens website.

Concessions

We offer concessions on some of our shows. Details will be available on the show pages or please do speak to a member of the Box Office. The Box Office may ask for proof of entitlement to concessions. Only one concession, per person, per transaction, is applicable.

Our tickets will be charged at full price unless there is a child rate advertised. We offer a “baby on lap” ticket for parents bringing children aged 2 years or under, on selected shows only, bookable only from the Box Office.

Access requirement and Companion Ticket Policy

Access requirement customers pay full price for their ticket.

You can then buy ONE companion ticket at the current rate.

As the access requirement customer, you must have and show one of the following letters to the Box Office Staff showing that you need to have a carer with you:

  • Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
  • Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
  • Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)

Seat Selection

When booking your seats you may be asked to choose alternative seating if your selection leaves a single seat.

Parental Guidance

Age restrictions are stated where possible but please do check with Box Office before booking for any under 18s to ensure the show is suitable. Most shows are suitable for children, with parental guidance.

For events that permit the attendance of under 18s, children aged 12 or under must be accompanied by someone over the age of 16.

No responsibility is accepted by The Kings Theatre Trust or any of its employees for unaccompanied children.
