Miss Rabbit’s Best Day Ever!

08 Feb 2020

Miss Rabbit is a very busy rabbit. She has lots of jobs and has spent the week helping Portsmouth ahead of Peppa Pig’s Best Day Ever at the Kings Theatre. She captained the Wightlink Ferry, took tickets and cleaned the windows at the Spinnaker Tower, visited the children at Queen Alexandra Hospital and even drove […]

Wightlink

Miss Rabbit’s day started with a trip on board Wightlink’s flagship ferry, Victoria of Wight. During the crossing she got the chance to meet the captain and crew and helped them with navigating and steering the ship, whilst taking in the waterfront views of Portsmouth and Fishbourne.

Spinnaker Tower

Following her trip on the ferry, Miss Rabbit made her way through Gunwharf Quays to the Spinnaker Tower where she was lucky enough to meet many passers-by and pose for some photos. During a busy day at the Spinnaker, Miss Rabbit took tickets at the admissions stand before making the 100 metre ascent to the top of the Tower to admire the panoramic views – even spotting Albert Road and the Kings Theatre in the distance!

First Bus Portsmouth

Before the stars of Peppa Pig descend on the Theatre on February 26 & 27, Miss Rabbit visited the Kings via a First Solent Bus – aptly named The Star. After a quick tour round the Theatre and spending time in the Box Office assisting with tickets for Peppa Pig’s Best Day Ever, it was back on the bus to Peppatown to get ready for the show!

Queen Alexandra Hospital & Cliffdale Early Years School

Towards the end of her busy week, Miss Rabbit spent some time in the community, visiting Cliffdale Primary School in Portsmouth and the children’s ward at Queen Alexandra Hospital. It was wonderful for her to surprise the young people and staff and she loved taking part in all the activities taking place. She was very pleased that everyone was happy to see her!

Thank you to Wightlink Ferries, the Spinnaker Tower, Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cliffdale School and First Bus Portsmouth for the warm welcome and hospitality. Don’t miss Peppa Pig, Miss Rabbit and others in Peppa Pig’s Best Day Ever with tickets available HERE.
