We offer many different events in and around the theatre for all to enjoy.

There are a number of tours available within the theatre, we currently run: 

History Tours – Step behind the scenes and see our iconic theatre from a new perspective! 
Ghost Tours – Explore the theatre at night! Are you brave enough? 
Toddler Tours – An interactive tour for the little ones! 
Technical Tours – Discover the methods and magic behind our magnificent productions! 
School Tours – Experience learning in a unique and distinctive environment that will inspire and engage!

Kings Community Sing

Every Friday we have a friendly, open and fun group-singing initiative perfect for ages 18+ and al singing abilities. Meet new people, enjoy a range of exciting and varied songs and enjoy a complimentary tea/coffee.

The weekly sessions are £1.50 (pay as you go), 9-10.30am. The group will be held in our Stalls, which is fully accessible and can be found on Albert Road.

Coffee Mornings

Every Wednesday we run coffee mornings in our beautiful Stalls bar, from 10-12pm;

1st Wednesday Coffee & Crafts  – bring along your latest project, get tips and advice and of course enjoy a bit of natter! Supported by Seeded.
2nd Wednesday Coffee & Cards  – time for ‘fun & games’ – cards, draughts, chess and more or why not bring along your favourite game!
3rd Wednesday Coffee & Chapters – Let’s chat about the latest books we’re all reading, what we’d recommend to others, favourite authors and much more!
4th Wednesday Coffee & Conversation – A variety of talks and discussions! Please see below.

28th Feb ‘The Archive Revealed’ – exploring some the artifacts in our archive.
27th Mar Pompey in the Community – find out what this independent charity does for the local community.
24th Apr ‘For Valour – The Victoria Cross Story’ – a talk given by Jeremy Prescott.
22nd May ‘The work of the RSPB and what the local group does’.
26th June A talk on the work of the Dogs Trust.   
24th July ‘Beekeeping and the Asian Hornet Challenge’ A talk given by the Guildford Beekeeping Association. 
31st July – extra date ‘Come Dine with the Georgian Navy’ It’s not all grog, rotten meat and weevily biscuits! Find out how the officers and crew of HMS Victory liked to wine and dine.

25th Sept ‘The man who caught a million criminals – Alec Jefferys and the invention of DNA fingerprinting’. Talk given by Dr Ian Goodall.
23rd Oct ‘What happens behind the stage?!’ Talk given by a member of our tech team.
27th Nov There is no coffee morning running.
December There are no coffee mornings running in December
The entrance is wheelchair & pushchair friendly, and baby changing & disabled toilet facilities available.
