The Kings Theatre works with many schools in the Portsmouth and surrounding areas.

We will work on a one to one basis with you and your pupils to understand and engage with them either via tours & talks on the importance of this historical venue or introducing drama & the theatre to their learning.

If you’d like our team to come and see you or would like us to discuss ideas with you, please do not hesitate to contact us on 023 92828282 or email

History Tour & Physical Theatre Workshop, March 2022

“The content of the workshop was great for our girls as they love physical theatre, and the workshop was very inclusive. The tour was perfect for our girls, and they were very engaged.  Lauren was an excellent tour guide; she pitched her talk exactly at the right level and was very patient dealing with the questions. Kerry was great with the girls, and they were on board from the start. Thank you for a lovely morning.”

History Tour & Shakespeare Workshop, March 2022

“Absolutely loved it! Very good value for money. The tour linked perfectly with our studies of Theatre throughout the years, and Shakespeare. We were warmly welcomed and looked after with great care and attention. The pupils (and the adults) loved the tour and we can’t wait to return. Thank you.”
