Chaperone (CASUAL)

The Kings Theatre is a high profile south coast theatre with a serious commitment to providing an outstanding audience experience for all. We are looking for a reliable licensed Chaperone to join our team on a casual basis. (CASUAL). As a Chaperone, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals under your care. This is a casual position with flexible hours.

MAIN PURPOSE:

Chaperones are responsible for the child cast of a production. They are there to provide and secure their health, comfort and welfare whilst participating in the show. The chaperones are responsible for, amongst other things, first aid and health and safety of the children, liaising with the parents and acting in loco parentis when in the theatre, and ensuring that the child is working within the legal guidelines under which they are licensed to perform.

 

Currently we are looking to Chaperone for our in house production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Rehearsals are primarily Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons. During Tech and Show week there will be the need for Chaperones most days of the weeks.

The Kings use Chaperones for all productions, after Charlie it will be into Panto rehearsals before Annie. So there is the opportunity to pick up casual work for the next 10-11 months.

You must already hold a Chaperone Licence.
